5 photos every Regina listing needs before it goes live

Most buyers decide in a few seconds whether to click on a listing. The photos do that work. Here are the five shots we take on every Regina listing — and why each one matters.

1. The front exterior, straight on

This is the shot that shows up first on REALTOR.ca. Shoot it from across the street at eye level, so the house looks the way it does when you walk up to it.

Clear sky helps. Dusk helps even more — warm windows and a blue sky make a listing stand out in a grid of daytime photos.

Wide, bright and level: the living room shot buyers expect to see second.

2. The main living space

Shoot from the corner, at chest height, with every light on. Wide enough to show the room flows — but not so wide that walls bend.

“If the first three photos don’t work, buyers never see the other thirty.”

3. The kitchen

Clear the counters completely. One bowl of fruit at most. Shoot straight on, then one angle that shows the island or dining area.

  • Clear every counter and the fridge door
  • Turn on under-cabinet lights
  • Open blinds halfway for even light

4. The primary bedroom

Make the bed tight, add one throw, and shoot from the doorway corner. Buyers want to picture themselves there — keep it simple.

5. The best outdoor space

A deck, a backyard, a view. In Regina, summer greenery sells — if the listing goes live in winter, use a summer photo if you have one.
