Quotes and booking

These terms apply to every shoot booked with Vadera Photography, owned and run by Nirmesh Vadera in Regina, Saskatchewan. By booking a shoot, you agree to them.

Every quote is a fixed price in Canadian dollars, plus GST and PST. It lists exactly what is included. Quotes are valid for [30 days].

Your booking is confirmed when we confirm the date in writing and, for corporate shoots, the deposit is paid. Until then, the date is not held for you.

Travel within 50 km of Regina is free. Shoots further away, including Saskatoon, are quoted with travel included.

Payment

Corporate shoots: a 25% deposit books your date. The balance is due after delivery.

Real estate shoots: nothing is due upfront. You pay after the photos are delivered.

We accept Interac e-Transfer, credit card, or a company or brokerage invoice. Invoices are due within [14 days].

Full-resolution files may be held until the invoice is paid. Overdue invoices may be charged [2% per month] in interest.

Changes and cancellations

Weather: if the weather would spoil exterior, drone or twilight photos, we reschedule at no charge. We'll agree the call with you on the day.

Rescheduling: you can move your shoot for free with at least [48 hours'] notice, subject to availability.

Cancelling a corporate shoot: with [7 days'] notice or more, your deposit is refunded. With less notice, the deposit is kept to cover the reserved date.

Cancelling a real estate shoot: with less than [24 hours'] notice, or if we arrive and can't get in, a [fee of $X] may apply.

If we ever have to cancel because of illness or an emergency, we'll offer the next available date or refund everything you've paid.

On the day

Corporate: please have the agreed room free and a power outlet ready. Running late is fine, but sessions that run past the booked time may be charged at our hourly rate.

Real estate: please have the property clean, lights working and personal items put away before we arrive. Lockbox access is fine. We photograph the property as we find it.

Drone: drone photos depend on weather and airspace rules. If flying isn't allowed or safe at a location, we'll tell you and adjust the quote.

Delivery and reshoots

Photos are delivered through a private online gallery. Usual delivery times:

• Real estate photos and drone: next morning
• Walkthrough video: within 3 business days
• Corporate headshots: proofs in 2 business days, finals in 3, up to a week for larger jobs
• Events: a preview set the next day, the full gallery in 3 to 7 business days

We edit every image in our own style. Extra retouching beyond what's included is charged as quoted.

If a photo isn't right because of something on our side, tell us within [7 days] of delivery and we'll fix or reshoot it free.

We keep a backup of delivered photos for [period]. Please save your own copies once you receive them.

Using your photos

Nirmesh Vadera keeps the copyright to all photos and video. You receive a licence to use them as follows:

• Corporate clients: full commercial use by your company, including your website, LinkedIn, print, ads and press. Each person may also use their own headshot.
• Real estate clients: use to market the property you booked, on MLS, REALTOR.ca, your website, social media and print. The licence does not transfer to another agent, a buyer or a different listing without our permission.

You may crop and resize the images, but please don't apply filters or heavy edits that change the look. You can't resell the images or enter them in contests as your own work.

We may show selected images in our portfolio and on social media. See our privacy policy for how we handle consent.

Liability

We carry $2 million in liability insurance and take great care on every shoot. If something goes badly wrong on our side and we can't deliver your photos, our total liability is limited to a refund of what you paid for that shoot.

We're not responsible for events outside our control, such as extreme weather, power failures, or a venue that doesn't give us access.

These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and of Canada.
